The Antique Guild first opened in 1980 at this location and is a family owned business.

Where is the shop located?
We occupy the ground floor of an 18th century building located across from Market Square and City Hall in Old Town Alexandria, Virigina.
The shop address is 113 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Va. 22314 in the 100 block of North Fairfax Street located between the Ramsay House Visitors' Center and the historic Carlyle House at the other end of the block. We are located three streets up from the river and four streets down from Washington Street.

What are your shop hours?
Our current shop hours are:
Thursday through Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
We close for most legal holidays.
We do close for buying trips and we record an outgoing telephone message with the altered shop hours. So if in doubt, please call us at 703-836-1048 beforehand.

What sort of items does the shop carry?
We deal primarily in antique & estate jewelry and fine silver, though we strive to stock the funky and the unusal. Once inside the shop, you will become aware of the figural animal theme, for we love birds, dogs, and all kinds of beasties.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept most major credit cards and debit cards--except for DISCOVER.

Do you ship your merchandise?
We feel comfortable shipping small items such as jewelry and silver, but we do not ship fragile items such as porcelain and glass or bulky items such as art work or furniture. We do not ship internationally.

What is your return policy?
We do trade back items for a credit with your original receipt and in the same condition at time of purchase. The trade back must be for an even exhange or to exceed the original purchase amount before the sales tax amount. We do not refund the amount of the purchase.

Do you purchase antiques?
We do not have the buying license required by the City of Alexandria to purchase your antiques, but we can recommend other dealers who can purchase your antiques such as gold and silver paying fair prices for your items.
