From the north- Washington D.C.:
Crossing any of the Potomac River bridges to Virginia from D.C. such as the 14th St. Bridge, the Memorial Bridge, and the Key Bridge---
- Take the G.W. (George Washington) Parkway South with the Potomac River on your left-hand side passing National Airport and the Washington Marina.
- Upon entering Alexandria the G.W. Parkway becomes Washington St. Continue through nine traffic lights and take a left on to Cameron St. ( Christ Church is on the right hand side & you've overshot the turn if you pass in front of the church with the small but interesting cemetery)
- Continue on Cameron St. past three streets (St. Asaph, Pitt, & Royal) taking a right on to N. Fairfax St. (City Hall is on the corner) King St. is the next intersection.
- The Antique Guild is located at 113 North Fairfax St. on the left-hand side directly across the street from the underground parking lot entrance under Market Square and next to Ramsay Alley a cobblestone alleyway. Down the alleyway is where Hannelore's Bridal Shop of Old Town is located at 106 North Lee Street.
- There is street parking, but please keep in mind but remember that the city's parking police are notorious for their exuberance.
From the west-- Rt. I-66:
- Take Rt. 66 East towards Washington
- On the right, take Exit # 24 Lee Hwy/Spout Run taking the right at the bottom of the hill at the traffic light on to Lee Hwy. Immediately work your way over to the far left and make the left onto Spout Run at the traffic light (there's a shopping center on the left with a Starbucks and a Giant grocery store)
- Follow this road out to the G.W. Parkway South and follow the directions from above at this point from Washington D.C. directions
From the south--Rt. I-95/395:
- Heading north on 95/395 take the Boundary Channel Dr./National Airport Exit 10 just before crossing the 14th St. Bridge. This exit puts you on the G.W. Pky. South just above National Airport. Follow the directions from Washington D.C. at this point
From the Woodrow Wilson Bridge /the capitol beltway I- 495 inner loop from Maryland:
- Upon crossing the Woodrow Wilson Bridge get over to the far right lane. Take Exit # 1 off the bridge, the first exit of Old Town Alexandria/Mt. Vernon. This exit curves around hard clockwise and ends quickly at a traffic light at the top of the incline where you take a left onto Washington St. You'll pass St. Mary's Cemetery with a beautifully carved angel behind the gate. If you make a right here, it's a scenic drive but you eventually end up at George's house.
- Continue down Washington St. and at the sixth traffic light take a right on to King St. heading east towards the river.
- Take King St. east down towards the river crossing over St. Asaph St., Pitt St., Royal St. and on the fourth street take a left onto North Fairfax St. where The Antique Guild is located at 113 N. Fairfax St. on the right-hand side just beyond the cobblestone Ramsay Alley directly across the street from the underground parking entrance at Market Square next to City Hall.
